Growing up I used to pack Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes with my mom every year. We would carefully pick out toys and toothbrushes always wondering what the kids on the other end would think when they opened them. I never imagined I’d one day get to see that moment for myself. In Toamasina, Madagascar I watched children tear open those same carefully packed boxes and the joy on their faces was incredible to witness. Full circle doesn’t even begin to cover it.
